1. Introduction

Smart Kirana Shop ("Smart Billing", "we", "our", or "us"), developed by DevMonks (devmonks.space), operates the Smart Kirana Shop retail management and ledger application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and security. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle user data in connection with the application and Google API services.

2. Information Access & Storage

When you authorize Smart Kirana Shop to connect to your Google Account, the app receives access tokens locally. These are used only to communicate directly with Google API servers on your behalf.

• Local Cache: Your inventory, customers list, checkouts ledger, and expenses logs are cached on your mobile device using encrypted local databases (Hive). This enables offline operation. This data is completely wiped from your device whenever you explicitly sign out or clear app storage.
• Google Sheets Database: The app reads from and writes to spreadsheets that are stored inside your own personal Google Drive. This acts as your secure cloud synchronization backend.

3. Google API Scopes Usage Disclosures

To enable synchronization, the app requests the following scopes. We adhere strictly to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements:

• Google Sheets Scope (.../auth/spreadsheets): Used to automatically read from and append rows to inventory, transactions, customer credit balances, and expenses tabs. No sheets outside of the app-created database are ever accessed, read, or modified.
• Google Drive Scope (.../auth/drive.file): Used to check for existing database sheets, initialize new spreadsheets, and automatically share them with other operator emails that you explicitly authorize inside the app's collaborator settings panel. We do not inspect other files in your Drive.

4. Data Sharing & Third-Party Disclosure

We do not share, sell, distribute, or rent your business transactions, inventory lists, customer details, or personal profile data to any third-party companies, partners, or advertisers. The only data sharing that occurs is controlled explicitly by you: when you add staff operators to your branch workspace, the app utilizes the Drive API permissions client to share editor access of the database spreadsheet with the staff member's Google Account.

5. Security of Your Data

Because all cloud transactions are executed directly between the client app and Google API servers over HTTPS, your data benefits from Google's enterprise-grade cloud security infrastructure. We recommend securing your mobile device with strong authentication (PIN, password, or biometrics) to protect the offline cache.

6. Access Revocation

You can revoke the application's access to your Google Account at any time by visiting your Google Account Security settings panel under "Third-party apps with account access". Revoking access will prevent the app from syncing updates, but your existing database spreadsheets will remain securely stored on your Google Drive.

7. User Data & Account Deletion Request

We respect your right to manage and delete your personal and business data. Because Smart Kirana Shop operates with a zero-server-storage architecture:

• Local Device Data: You can completely erase all locally cached inventory, customer lists, and transaction history by tapping "Sign Out" or clearing the app storage/cache from your device settings.
• Cloud Data (Google Drive): You have complete control over the spreadsheet database stored in your Google Drive. You can delete the database files directly from your Google Drive at any time.
• Manual Deletion Assistance: If you need any assistance with erasing your account association or revoking permissions, you can submit a deletion request by emailing us at santhoshbukka5@gmail.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request". Requests are processed within 48 hours.
